Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider for locum tenens coverage in Washington, District of Columbia (DC). Starting September, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

Details:

• Emergency Medicine coverage at a high-volume Emergency Department

• Approximately 36,500 annual patient visits

• Day and swing shifts available

• Ongoing coverage need beginning September 1, 2026

• Twenty hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverage provided daily

• Collaborative Emergency Medicine team with Physician support

• Temporary privileges available for providers with clean files

• Peer references required from within the past two years

Requirements:

• Active District of Columbia license

• Emergency Medicine experience required

• Board Certification required
