Job Description
Locums - A well respected hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide solo Emergency Medicine and inpatient Hospital Medicine coverage in western Wisconsin.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Coverage needed August 23-29, 2026; Orientation on August 21
- 24-hour onsite shifts (12p-12p)
- Solo provider coverage for both the ER and Inpatient unit
- Average of 8-14 ppd
- Responsibilities include ER, admissions, inpatient rounding, and overnight patient management
- Required procedures include central lines, emergent intubations, vent management and ER procedures
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of ER experience and feel comfortable working independently
- EMR EPIC
- Active WI license, DEA, ACLS, recent case logs
- Competitive flat rate, lodging on-site provided, malpractice coverage
