Nurse Practitioner Santa Maria, CA (1hr NW of Santa Barbara)

3-day weekend, every weekend!

We are looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our growing private medical practice full time in Santa Maria, CA. We are seeking a provider who can provide high quality direct patient care and management along with our multidisciplinary team, is compassionate and has an interest in restorative, rehabilitative, and regen medicine. Our ideal candidate has experience or interest in physical medicine and rehab and/or orthopedics, experience working with joint and musculoskeletal pain, and trigger point injections but we are willing to provide training and certification for the right individual.

Our clinic is committed to finding solutions that help our patients achieve their health and wellness goals, solutions that do not involve steroid or opioid use, with minimal to no medication prescribing at our facility. We seek to supplement the body’s healing mechanism with several evidence-based options. Duties:

  • Direct patient care, oversight and management
  • Patient evaluations (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent medical records/imaging/records)
  • Order/review diagnostic imaging
  • Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
  • Order PT, treatments, modalities as medically necessary
  • Patient education as to care plan options, diagnosis, lifestyle modifications, rehab/corrective actions
  • Collaboration with the Chiropractic and PT/rehab team for comprehensive patient care
  • Treatments to include US guided IM and Intra-articular injections, Trigger point injections
  • Documentation- timely and accurate
  • Twice daily meetings with the DC, PT, healthcare providers and staff to discuss patient care, exams, imaging/findings and ordering treatment plans

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Required
  • Licensed to practice in CA
  • Interested in learning new skills, treatment protocols, and working with an interdisciplinary team
  • Ability to use diagnostic US, perform US guided joint injections a plus (we can provide training/certification for the right candidate)
  • Experience in rehabilitation/orthopedics a plus

Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday 7:30 to 12, 1-5:30 Off Fri - Sun

Salary (range):

  • $75 - $80 per hour (DOE)
