Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis in Bakersfield, CA. In this role, you will provide comprehensive pediatric healthcare services to patients, collaborating closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and examinations of pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs and established protocols.
- Perform procedures and interventions as required, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Provide patient and family education on health promotion, disease prevention, and management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records/documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care coordination efforts.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current certification and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in California.
- Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
- New Grads welcome.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate: $65-$80 per hour based on experience.
Clinic Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
