Gynecology APP Opportunity in Colorado

Sumo Medical Staffing is looking for an experienced Advanced Practice Provider/Gynecology to help out with approximately 10 shifts a month in Colorado Springs, CO.

Details of position: The setting: Inpatient, Emergency Room, Clinic, Trauma Level III, required procedures: Pelvic exams, pap smears, simple biopsies, Surgical Assist, Consults in E.D, & other duties as assigned. The EMR used is Epic. The support staff is covered with an RN, LPN/LVN. We are looking for someone who is comfortable rounding on patients, perform pelvic exams, take calls, triage problem visits, and manage in basket. The cases consist of being first assist on laparoscopic surgery (hysterectomy, BSO, resection of masses, pelvic and para-aortic lymph node dissections, Ex Laps). Providers must have experience with inpatient and clinic. They must be able to answer calls about floor patients, ED consults, rounds, as well as see problem visits in office and answer questions.

Shift Description: 7a-5p with one hour unpaid lunch + night call - 5p-7a (2.5 gratis)

• Aug 2, 6, 9-10, 13, 20, 27, 29-30

• Sept 1-3, 10, 13-14, 17, 24, 27, 28

• Oct 1, 8, 10-12, 15, 22, 25-26, 29

• Nov 5, 12-19, 26

• Dec 3, 10, 13-14, 17, 24-27, 31
