Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Family Medicine NP/PA Locum to work coverage in Bedford, Iowa (IA). Starting as soon as credentialed (set for November), the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Family Medicine NP/PA role:

• Bid to apply will close: 07/10/2025
• Coverage: 4 days per week or 16 days per month
• Required Procedures: DOT preferred.
• Support team: 1 RN, EMS staff (when not on an emergency call), receptionist, Lab services, POCT and limited x-ray
• EMR: EPIC
• Duties:

* Provides direct, comprehensive, preventative and therapeutic healthcare for patients and families.

* Perform patient assessments, diagnoses and treatments.

* Prescribes medications as needed.

* Provides counseling and instruction to patients and families.

* Maintains competence in areas of practice.

Requirements of the Family Medicine NP/PA role:

• Active IA License, unrestricted.
• Board Certified – NP/PA Family Medicine
• Agrees with Travel/Housing parameters.
• Certification preferences: ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA
• Malpractice – clean preferred for expedited privileging.
