Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Location: Merced County, California

This is an amazing opportunity to work with a well-established Rural Health Clinics located in the Merced County, California area. We are committed to delivering cost-effective, high-quality healthcare to our patients and the surrounding communities.

Our location offers the best of both worlds—less than two hours from the California coastline and the Bay Area, and about three hours from Yosemite National Forest.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing practice. This is a full-time position in a primary care office setting, caring for patients of all ages.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

• 1-hour lunch (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)

• Possible Saturday shifts in the future (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)

This is an immediate opening. Candidate must hold a California License and DEA certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred (will consider new graduates eager to learn family practice). New grads are encouraged to apply!

• California NP/PA license and DEA required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary:

  • New Graduates: $65.00/hour ($124,800 base + incentives)

  • Experienced: $70.00/hour ($134,400 base + incentives)

• Productivity Incentive: $20.00 per patient seen after 23 patients daily

• Relocation/Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (repayment clause if terminated before 2 years)

• CME Allowance: $1,500 after 1 year of employment

• Health Insurance: Market-comparative or $250/month stipend (after 3 months)

• Holidays: Paid after 3-month probationary period (major holidays off)

• 401(k): Available after 1 year of employment

• Malpractice Insurance: Provided (with tail coverage)

• PTO/Vacation: Up to 2 weeks after 1 year of employment, accrued at California rate and matched for up to 2 weeks
