Job Title: Temporary Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Schedule: 3 days per week | 8-hour shifts

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our urgent care team in Las Vegas, NV, on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing care to patients of all ages for various urgent care needs and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide medical care to patients of all ages for common urgent care needs
- Conduct patient histories and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat minor illnesses and injuries
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
- Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Prescribe medications and manage medication regimens as required
- Educate patients and provide detailed follow-up instructions
- Document patient visits accurately and efficiently in the EMR system
- Collaborate with support staff and supervising physician to ensure quality patient care

Facility Features:

- Onsite lab, EKG, and ultrasound
- Services include well visits, sick visits, minor emergencies, physicals, sutures, medication management of chronic diseases, STD testing, and IV therapy

Qualifications:

- Current and valid NP or PA license in the state of Nevada
- Experience in urgent care or a similar clinical setting preferred
- Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically ECW (eClinicalWorks)
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosis, treatment, and patient education
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
