Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage in Lafayette, Louisiana (LA). Starting as soon as credentialed, this is a locum to permanent opportunity only, offering a competitive market rate structured to reflect the permanent salary.

Details:

• Locum to permanent position only; will not be offered as locums-only

• High-volume practice with complex patients and significant care coordination

• Must have 3–5 years of Hematology Oncology experience

• Outpatient only; no inpatient rounding

• Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM; Fridays typically done by 3:30 PM

• Rotating call on Saturdays from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM approximately once every three months

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of Hematology Oncology experience required
