Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP): Chesapeake and Roanoke, Virginia (VA)

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to work locum shifts in Chesapeake and Roanoke, Virginia (VA). As soon as possible, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Primary Care Nurse Practitioner role (Chesapeake):

· Need: Fulltime (ASAP- May 2026)

· Schedule: Mon-Thur (7a-5:30p) Possible Saturdays Open (9a-2p)

· Responsibilities: ages 2+ acute urgent visits only, ages 5+ for school or camp physicals, and ages 12+ for all other primary care.

The Primary Care Nurse Practitioner role (Roanoke):

· Need: Fulltime (May- August 2026)

· Schedule: Mon-Thur (7a-5p) Fridays (7a-11a)

· Responsibilities: Will be req'd to perform fire fighter physicals. Ages 2+

Requirements of the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner role:

· Virginia state license; active, unrestricted

· Virginia State DEA Preferred (Not required)

· BLS

· Occupational Medicine Experience- Roanoke
