Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Wound Care
Location: Essex County, NJ

Overview:
Our established healthcare team is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced wound care to a diverse patient population. Our role offers a permanent opportunity to manage complex cases and influence patient outcomes as an autonomous clinician. You will work across clinical settings alongside a collaborative care team.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, office hours
• Permanent, full-time role
• Competitive pay: $140,000–$145,000 per year
• $5,000 salary increase upon completion of wound care training

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform wound assessments, including history, exam, and diagnosis of type and severity
• Create and adjust individualized wound care plans, including dressings and topical therapies
• Perform debridement procedures per clinical protocols
• Monitor wound progress, document in the EMR, and update treatment plans as needed
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, therapists, dietitians, and case managers
• Prevent and manage wound-related infections
• Educate patients, families, and staff on wound care and prevention
• Maintain compliance with CMS and state regulations through accurate documentation

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited program
• Current NJ APRN license and active RN license in good standing
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP)
• Minimum 1 year of experience with geriatric patients and wound care
• Willingness to travel throughout Essex, Morris, and Passaic counties
