NP-Neurosurgery locum position in Greenville, South Carolina (SC)

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner to work locum shifts in Greenville, South Carolina (SC) starting 10/21/2026. The role offers 6 month contract with option to extend and a competitive market rate.

The Neurosurgery role:

Location: Greenville, South Carolina (SC)

Start date: 10/21/2026

Schedule: 10-hour (7a–5p) or 12-hour (7a–7p) shifts

• Day, night, and weekend coverage required

• 1 weeknight call and 1 weekend day per call week

• Clinic Monday–Friday with rounds prior to clinic

• Patient schedule approximately 9:00am–3:30pm

• Surgical center / neurosurgery practice

• Adult-only patient population

• Team includes 6 MDs, 1 RN, and 4 MAs

• Additional APP coverage 1–2 times per week

EMR: Epic

Requirements:

South Carolina license, active and unrestricted

BC Neurosurgery required

DEA required; clean background; procedural experience (EVD, lumbar drain, ICP monitor, LP, suturing); flu vaccine required (exemptions allowed)
