We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing primary care team. This is an excellent opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while providing comprehensive, evidence-based care in a collaborative and supportive practice environment.

What You'll Do

As a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients across the lifespan.
• Perform patient assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing results.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and scope of practice.
• Promote preventive healthcare through wellness exams, screenings, immunizations, and patient education.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and value-based care programs.
• Follow documentation, coding, and reimbursement best practices.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, including EMTALA and applicable healthcare standards.

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current (or eligible for) Maine NP or PA license.
• Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
• Eligible for credentialing and medical staff membership.
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient assessment skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Preferred

• Previous experience in family medicine, primary care, urgent care, or rural health.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
• New graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
