Full-Time | Family Medicine | Days | 40 Hours per Week

We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing primary care team. What You'll Do
As a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients across the lifespan.
- Perform patient assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing results.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and scope of practice.
- Promote preventive healthcare through wellness exams, screenings, immunizations, and patient education.
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and value-based care programs.
- Follow documentation, coding, and reimbursement best practices.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, including EMTALA and applicable healthcare standards.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current (or eligible for) Maine NP or PA license.
- Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Eligible for credentialing and medical staff membership.
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient assessment skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Preferred
- Previous experience in family medicine, primary care, urgent care, or rural health.
- Experience with electronic medical records.
- New graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
