Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Family Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage in Naturita, Colorado (CO). Starting as soon as credentialed, the role offers ongoing work with the potential to convert to a permanent position, a competitive market rate, and benefits.

Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week

• Outpatient Rural Health Clinic serving patients of all ages

• Sole provider practice with support staff onsite

• Average 10–15 patients per day

• Mix of Primary Care, Chronic Disease Management, Acute Care, and Urgent Care

• Walk-in and scheduled appointments

• Rural setting requiring stabilization and transfer of emergency patients when needed

• Shared onsite housing available

• Opportunity to transition into a permanent position

EMR:

Athena

Requirements:

• Active Colorado license

• Active Drug Enforcement Administration registration

• Minimum two years of Family Practice experience required

• Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support required

• Comfortable practicing independently in a rural setting

• X-ray experience preferred

• Advanced Trauma Life Support preferred but not required
