Job Description

Locums - A well respected healthcare organization is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide full-time Urgent Care coverage in West Virginia.

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Start November 2026 for ongoing need
Full-time opportunity with approximately 20 shifts per month
12-hour shifts 8a-8p
No call
Approx 3-4 patients per hour
Typical cases include cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, sprains, minor burns, and other routine Urgent Care conditions
Must be comfortable with suturing, wound care, I&Ds, splinting, X-rays/EKGs, blood draws, and IVs
Must be willing to work independently
Will travel between 3 sites, all near each other
Minimum of 2 years of Urgent Care experience or 1 year of ER experience required
EMR EPIC
Active WV license, DEA, CSR, ACLS, BLS, PALS required
