Locum Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner New Brunswick, NJ

Palm Health Resources is hiring an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a locum Occupational Medicine opportunity in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This is an outpatient, non-hospital assignment with no call responsibilities and an expedited onboarding process.

The assignment is currently expected to run from October through November 2026, with a primary need for weekday afternoon/evening coverage.

Schedule:

• MondayThursday: 10:30 AM7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM5:00 PM
• Additional 23 day-per-week coverage may also be available
• No call
• Approximately 2025 patients per day

Position Responsibilities:

• Pre-employment and pre-placement physical examinations
• Return-to-work evaluations and clearances
• Initial and follow-up workplace injury assessments
• Workers' Compensation evaluations
• Fit-for-duty examinations
• Medical surveillance and occupational exposure follow-up
• Employee health screenings and for-cause substance testing
• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory testing and diagnostic X-rays
• Collaborate with physicians and other Advanced Practice Providers

Requirements:

• Experienced Nurse Practitioner with a strong clinical background
• Active New Jersey license
• Current DOT certification
• Active NJ CDS and DEA
• Comfortable managing Workers' Compensation cases
• Occupational or employee health experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient environment
