New Fulltime Locums Position in Maryland

Sumo Medical Staffing is looking for an experienced NP or PA/Neonatology to provide fulltime coverage in Maryland starting ASAP.

Start Date: November 2, 2026 ongoing

Estimated Shifts/Month 12

Coverage Need Details 12 hour or 24 hour shifts available, days, nights, weekends and holidays. Our current need is for 3 shifts per week.

Schedule/Shift Times 7a-730p; 7p-730a

Candidates Typical Day

Dayshift includes evaluating current patients in NICU, rounding with the attendings and NICU team on all patients, attending deliveries, evaluating patients in PEDS or new born nursery if needed.

For 24 hour shifts, there is a call room for the providers to sleep overnight. Being able to sleep is dependent on the needs of the patients.

Will Candidate Work Solo? Yes

EMR / Charting EPIC

On Call? No

Procedures required: Intubations, umbilical arterial and venous catheter placements, PICC line, lumbar punctures, ventilation management, CAPA, high-frequency ventilation. Chest tube placement is preferred, as this is done with attending.

Requirements

• Active Maryland License
• NRP
• PALS
• 2 years of experience
• Procedures/list above
