Job Description
- This is a walk-in clinic/urgent care
- All ages to be seen (so FNP board cert a must). They will consider a provider that sees children, but no newborns/infants
- Ambulatory care exp is a plus, but not a must
- Summer season is usually slower, so the volume is not as high as the flu season
- Suturing and splinting is a must/highly preferred
- ED is attached to the walk-in clinic, so there is support
- At least 2 providers working on each shift at the same time. Depending on volume and/or season, sometimes 3
- Additionally, there is ample support staff: 1 triage RN, 1 LPN/CNA per provider, lab and radiology onsite
- Shifts are 10a-8p M-F, 9a-5p Sat
- Flexible scheduling for 10s and 8s, but must be flexible to work at least 1 weekend shift per month
- 20-25 patients per 10 hour shift
- EPIC emr
- Contract is 3 months to start, and ongoing extension. ASAP start (ideally 6/1)
