Job Description
Client seeks Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for August 17 - October 16 at its onsite Corporate Health clinic in Occupational/Industrial type setting in Palmdale, CA. Provider will see some Occupational medicine injury evaluations and issues, but very few acute care issues in person, as client is trying to keep those to virtual health and video calls. Provider may also assist with COVID Support for clinic by making COVID screening calls & care navigation calls for employees' return to work. This consists of calling employees every 1-2 days and documenting findings in Epic EMR system. Findings are also entered into a spreadsheet for client review. All PPE is provided for this assignment. Occupational Medicine and/or Urgent Care experience and familiarity with COVID-19 is preferred/helpful. Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm and Friday 6:00am-2:30pm, all with a 30-minute lunch break. Client can be flexible with hours if needed.
