Job Description
Client seeking full-time GI NP, who must be flexible between 2 locations: Ankeny and West Des Moines
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Start at 7:45 or 8:00am
- Last Appointment at 3:45 or 4:00pm
Appointments:
- New Patients – Scheduled for 30-45 minutes
- Established Patients – Scheduled for 15 minutes
Team
- Currently 7 physicians and once we hire for this opening, 3 APPs (one of the APPs is Part-Time, works 2 half days/week)
- Office setup – 3 APPs sit together in an open office
- Nursing support – 10 nurses on the team, typically 6 working at a time
Duties/Responsibilities
- See new and established GI patients
- In clinic – all day, every day – seeing a mix of abdominal pain, GERD, Crohn’s, rectal bleeding, and ulcerative colitis
- Answer nurses’ questions as needed
- Sometimes you will be there without a physician, but there is always a physician available in Endo
What we are looking for:
- Experience in Family Practice, Specialty, or Hospital setting (not nursing home)
