Job Description
Are you looking for your next locum tenens assignment? Locum Source is currently working with a Cancer Center in Iowa that is looking for immediate Hematologist/Oncologist NP coverage. The provider is accepting locum & locum to perm candidates. If you are interested in a permanent opportunity, this is a great way to “test the waters” before signing a contract.
Dates & Schedule:
ASAP-Ongoing
Monday – Friday, 8-9 hour days
¼ call rotation
Setting:
Cancer Center
90% outpatient, 10% inpatient
Adult and Geriatric demographic
50% Hem / 50% Onc
2 radiation oncologists in practice
4 APPs in practice
Average 12-16 patients per day
EMR is Mosaiq
Required procedures:
Management of VAD/CV
Catheters & Intrathecal chemo
Required duties:
Participation on a Tumor Board, order tests and images
Requirements:
BC/BE
Experience in Hem/Onc
Available at least 4 days a week
Active IA or NLC Certified
BLS
COVID & Flu Vaccine
