Our established nationally ranked healthcare system is interviewing and hiring for Medical Breast Oncology positions in BEAUTIFUL Central Virginia. We are seeking skilled Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with prior oncology, chemotherapy, or women’s health experience.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am – 5pm, No weekends or call!
Duties: the Medical Oncology APP will support breast cancer patients through the cancer continuum from diagnosis to survivorship, supporting 2-3 medical breast oncologists. Duties include but not limited to delivering ambulatory care, managing treatments and survivorship, evaluating acute needs, coordinating interdisciplinary care, and developing and adjusting patient-centered treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree (NP or PA)
- Active and unrestricted VA State License, or license eligible
- Life support certifications as required (BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS)
- OCN, CBCN or AOCNP not required, yet strongly encouraged
