(Archived) Overnight Nurse Practitioner Needed in Philaldelphia
Job Description
OnCall Physician Staffing is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to cover nights starting as soon as credentialed on an ongoing basis. The right provider must have at least one year of inpatient experience managing common medical issues. We will also consider Nurse Practitioners who are acute care certified.
DATES:
As soon as credentialed - ongoing
Looking for someone who can work 7 shifts per month with option to pick up more
RESPONSBILITIES:
Perform Med-Surg admissions, H&P, medication reconciliation, and orders.
Rounding with Nursing Supervisor at a mutually agreed upon time
Provide PRN coverage to floors 2 -4
All ICU admissions after 7 pm will be performed by the overnight physician.
Exception: Overnight physician is busy caring for sick patients
The overnight Nurse Practitioner is not involved in the care of ICU level patients and does not perform ICU admissions
REQUIREMENTS:
Active Pennsylvania license
Local candidates
Minimum one year of inpatient experience managing common medical issue
