Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant Neuro Hospitalist

Very exciting Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner night shift opportunity in BEAUTIFUL Palm Springs, CA! We are looking for skilled Physician Assistants or Acute Care Nurse Practitioners experienced with providing neuro stroke/ neurosurgery support. Our renowned health system in the Coachella Valley is inviting you to be a part of our elite team!

This is a new service line at our facility! 3 12 hour shifts, specific for nights, going to handle all acute strokes across the neuro continuum! The best way to explain this is it's a rapid response stroke team. Our facility is going comprehensive to 24/7 and adding the night rotations to the service. Will consider candidates with a strong ICU, Hospitalist, Emergency Medicine or Preferred Neurosurgery!

Schedule: Night shifts, 7p 7a. No call!

Education: Masters (NP or PA)

Experience Required: Minimum one (1) year of experience with acute stroke and other neurovascular emergencies.

Licensure/Certification:

·        Active and unrestricted CA State License

·        Current APP board certification or board eligible (Must be Acute Care if NP)

·        DEA certificate to dispense controlled substances (II-V)

·        Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

·        Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
