Twin Cities NP/PA locum Hospitalist needs

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced NP/PA Hospitalist provider to work locum shifts in Niceville Florida, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

Position Highlights for NP/PA Hospitalist position:

• Specialty: Hospital Medicine

• Location: Twin Cities Area

• Duration: August and September coverage

• Schedule: Open blocks of 3 to 5 days, typically week on/week off

• Shift: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM

• No call required

Practice Details:

• 45-bed facility

• Daily census of 25 to 35 patients

• Approximately 10 admissions per day

• About 2 consults daily

• Elderly patient population

• No trauma cases, low to medium acuity

• Well-staffed support team

• No ICU rounding

• No procedures or vent management required

• Average rounding volume of 10 to 12 patients per day

Requirements for NP/PA Hospitalist position:

• Active Florida APP license required due to urgent need

• Hospital Medicine experience preferred

• Clean file strongly preferred for potential expedited privileging consideration
