Job Description
Sound Physicians/ECHO Locum Tenons is seeking qualified candidates for a new program in Tawas City, MI. Availability as soon as 11/28. All our programs offer competitive rates and malpractice with tail coverage.
St. Joseph Health System - Tawas City, MI
- Open ICU
- Acute/critical access
- Procedures - vent management
- BLS / ACLS certified
- Day: 8a - 5p (M-F) // Night: 7p - 7a
A few job requirements:
- Small community/rural experience: training or post-training in a small setting/small community hospital AND/OR worked in a hospital with limited specialist exposure
- Mechanical ventilator experience: experience within 24 months of at least 10 vent patience in co-management environment
- If no recent experience - APP will have close co-management with physician for first 5 vent patients
- Providers will receive at least semi-annual re-education regarding ICU care focused on vent management
- Night APP: access via phone to a Sound physician to discuss patient changes or complex medical/vent issues
- Intubation or line placement - not required
