Job Description
Sound Physicians/ECHO Locum Tenons is seeking experienced nurse practitioners for PRN coverage at our site in Red Bluff, CA. All our programs offer competitive pay and malpractice with tail. Travel is fully covered for this site. No shift minimums.
St. Elizabeth Community Hospital - Red Bluff, CA
- 49 beds/6 ICU beds
- 1 day physician (8a-8p)
- 1 night physician (8p-8a)
- 1 APP (8a-6p)
- Central lines, intubations and vent management
- Providers will be on RRT and run codes
- EMR: Cerner
- Quick credentialing
- perform evaluation and management services to patients requiring hospitalist services with the hospitalist practice
- develop treatment plans
- 10 patients per day (usually +2-3 depending on patients)
- Complete admissions from ED
- Perform dictation of H&P examinations
- Cross cover for hospitalist team
- Perform dictation of discharge summary and procedure reports
- Write progress notes
- Order routine and special laboratory studies
- Write orders for inpatient and outpatient medicine
- Perform such other responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the chief hospitalist and within NP/PA scope of practice
