Job Description

Seeking a Full Time Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner to join our team! This is a Night Shift position (7p-7a). Qualified candidates-please submit your resume for more details!

Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist:
  • JOB SUMMARY
    • The NP / PA practices medicine under the supervision of the Physician. Trained to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services, as delegated by a physician. Working as members of the health care team, they take medical histories, examine and treat patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and x rays, and make diagnoses. They record progress notes, instruct and counsel patients, and order or carry out therapy. May be responsible for managerial duties, such as ordering medical supplies or equipment and supervising nurses and assistants.
  • POSITION REQUIREMENTS
    • EDUCATION REQUIRED
      • 4 Year/Bachelors Degree
      • Graduate Degree - Graduate of Accredited Nurse Practitioner program
      • Current Georgia Licensure in: - Nurse Practitioner
    • EDUCATION PREFERRED
      • N/A

    • EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
      • Some hospital or physician practice experience
    • EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
      • 1-3 Years Minimum in Related Role

    • CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
      • ACLS
      • Other - NCCA or NCCPA
    • CERTIFICATIONS PREFERRED
      • New employees will have up to 180 days to acquire the certification from their date of hire or effective date of transfer, unless otherwise specified.
