Position Summary:

As an Advanced Practice Provider in Internal Medicine, you will be responsible for delivering primary healthcare services to patients in both the hospital and clinic settings. This includes conducting examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing ongoing care instructions to patients and their families.

Essential Functions:

  1. Conduct comprehensive primary healthcare services, including diagnosis, treatment, and referral as necessary.
  2. Educate patients and families on health-related issues and promote overall wellness.
  3. Participate in clinical care planning and policy development.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Electronic Medical Record systems.
  5. Refer patients to specialized services when required.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare teams to address patient needs and develop care plans.
  7. Deliver professional medical services in compliance with regulations and organizational policies.
  8. Participate in on-call duties including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  9. Maintain current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Active Registered Nurse and ARNP licensure with prescriptive authority in Washington.
    • Active Physician Assistant licensure with prescriptive authority in Washington.
    • CPR/ACLS Certification.
