Location: Lakeland, FL

Overview:
Our well-established internal medicine practice in Lakeland is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide thorough, patient-centered primary care to adult patients. Our role offers a permanent opportunity with strong mentorship available for new graduates.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced clinical assessments, including histories and physical exams, for adult internal medicine patients
• Develop and implement diagnosis and treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribe medications and adjust regimens, monitoring for effectiveness and safety
• Provide patient education and counseling on disease processes and preventive care
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and cardiovascular conditions
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, hospitals, and community resources
• Document encounters, orders, and care plans in the EHR
• Participate in interdisciplinary teamwork and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Florida
• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN), with Adult, Family, or Internal Medicine focus
• DEA registration eligibility
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Fluent in Spanish preferred
