Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Wound Care
York County, PA

Overview:
Our healthcare team is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide wound care services to patients across South Central Pennsylvania. This full-time role offers a consistent weekday schedule with no nights or weekends, focused on wound assessments and ongoing specialized care.

Position Offers:

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, no nights
  • Competitive pay: $140,000–150,000/year (DOE)
  • $15,000 sign-on bonus
  • Paid training, plus $5,000 salary increase after training

  • $1,500 toward Continuing Medical Education (CME), plus 5 CME days annually

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced wound assessments, including etiology determination, staging, and risk stratification
  • Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans, including dressing selection and pressure injury prevention strategies
  • Perform debridement procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines
  • Monitor wound healing progress and adjust care plans based on patient response
  • Educate patients and families on wound care, self-management, and factors affecting healing
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation, nutrition, and case management for coordinated care
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, Medicare, and insurance requirements, including coding and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with current NP board certification (FNP, AGNP, or related specialty)
  • Active Pennsylvania NP license (or eligibility)
  • Experience in wound care management; wound care certification preferred (CWOCN, CWS, WCC, or equivalent)
