Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Orthopedics
Prescott Valley, AZ

Overview:
Our orthopedic practice in Prescott Valley is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide office-based orthopedic care, including injections, new patient consults, and post-operative follow-up. New graduates and experienced NPs are both encouraged to apply.

Position Offers:

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Competitive salary: $145,000–160,000 annually (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive orthopedic patient assessments, including detailed musculoskeletal exams
  • Evaluate patients pre- and postoperatively, monitor recovery, and adjust care plans as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized orthopedic treatment plans in collaboration with supervising surgeons
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic imaging and lab tests to guide clinical decisions
  • Manage orthopedic pain using evidence-based pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic strategies
  • Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment, and rehabilitation expectations
  • Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately in the EHR
  • Collaborate with surgeons, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members, including limited hospital rounding

Qualifications:

  • Active, current Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in Arizona
  • Good hand/eye coordination and ability to work independently
  • Orthopedic injections experience preferred
