Overview:
Our federally qualified health center in Los Angeles is seeking a Bilingual Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive reproductive, prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic care as an independent clinician. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and loan repayment opportunities as a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) scholar site.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive women’s health evaluations, including well-woman exams, advanced clinical assessments, and management of gynecologic and reproductive health conditions
• Deliver contraceptive counseling and family planning, including initiation, monitoring, and follow-up
• Provide prenatal and postpartum care, including routine visits, risk assessment, care coordination, and follow-up
• Perform office-based procedures within WHNP scope, including Pap smears, colposcopies, IUD insertion/removal, and other minor procedures
• Offer patient education and counseling on reproductive health, family planning, sexually transmitted infections, and preventive care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and behavioral health providers to implement coordinated care plans
• Document all encounters, assessments, and care plans accurately and timely in the EHR
• Adhere to California regulatory, compliance, and quality standards, participating in clinical protocols, audits, and performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Active, current Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in California
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• Federally qualified health center or community health clinic experience, with quality improvement and telehealth familiarity, preferred
