Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage in New York, New York (NY)

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage in New York, New York (NY). Starting as soon as credentialed, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

Details:

• Part-time coverage, minimum six to seven shifts per month

• Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 8:30 PM

• Thirteen-week assignment with strong potential to extend through the end of the year

• Level Four Neonatal Intensive Care Unit setting

• Daily responsibilities include admissions, patient management, case management through discharge, and delivery room coverage

• Patient volume approximately eight to thirteen patients per day

• Collaborative team with fellows and attending physicians

• Procedures include intubations, umbilical lines, peripherally inserted central catheter lines, arterial sticks, lumbar punctures, chest tubes, and fluid management

• No call required

Requirements:

• Active New York license

• Minimum two years of recent experience in a Level Four Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

• NCC certification and Master’s Degree required

• COVID and Flu vaccination required
