• Provide neonatal care in a Level II NICU
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage newborn patients requiring specialized care
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Stabilize and manage neonatal patients according to established protocols

• Average Patient Encounters per Shift: 23

• Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Required)
• Active NC license and DEA
• Current certifications:
  • BLS Required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Required
  • PALS Not Required

The ideal provider is an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner who is comfortable practicing independently within a Level II NICU environment and is available for ongoing 24-hour on-site coverage. Candidates should possess strong neonatal assessment and critical thinking skills while working collaboratively with the neonatal care team.
