DESCRIPTION:

· Established neuroscience team consists of 9 neurosurgeons, including 3 dual-trained cerebrovascular neurosurgeons, an interventional neurologist, a neuro-oncologist, 24/7 stroke neurohospitalists, neurologists, neurointensivists, and a large team of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

· 1-2 Week increments, 2 weeks per month

· Inpatient only; No ICU duties; will not respond to code stroke or other stroke emergencies; will no serve as backup ER

· No procedural work expected

· EMR: EPIC

REQUIRED:

· NC state license; active, unrestricted

· Board Certified or Board Eligible

· Minimum 2 years’ experience

COMPENSATION:

· Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)

· Malpractice insurance provided

SCHEDULE:

· Monday-Sunday 8-5 in hospital, balance on call
