Great Occupational Medicine Opportunity in Austin, TX

Sumo Medical Staffing is looking for an NP/PA to provide fulltime locums coverage in Austin, TX. The clinic is an Occupational Med/Urgent Care site.

Location: Austin, TX

Schedule -

Start Date: November 2, 2026, ongoing

Monday -Friday, can either be an 8-5pm or 9-6pm shifts.

May be required to split shifts between 2 clinics

Requirements -

Comfortable with a minimum of 3 patients/hour

Must see patients 2 years +

DOT Certification prior to starting

Suture/minor procedures

BLS

Active TX license

As a locum Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, you will be accountable for treating both scheduled and walk-in work related injuries and urgent care patients in an outpatient clinic setting.

Diagnose and treat work-related injuries, perform pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for varied private companies and governmental agencies. Evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walk-in basis. Perform in-office procedures, communicate with employers and provide medical guidance. Completes all documentation in a timely and appropriate manner.
