This 127-bed Level III Trauma Center is the largest hospital on Oregon’s Southern Coast, serving a regional population of over 320,000. Its newly expanded facilities include a 19-chair infusion room, on-site pharmacy, radiation oncology, and dedicated nurse navigators.

Role Overview
-
Full-time, four 10-hour day shifts
-
No nights or weekends
-
Paid call shared equally
-
Primarily outpatient with occasional inpatient consults
-
Works in a collaborative oncology team including two Oncologists and one NP Locum
-
Affiliated with OHSU and part of the Knight Cancer Network
-
Procedures include chemotherapy oversight, patient evaluations, symptom management, survivorship care
-
Works closely with nurse infusion team, pharmacists, radiation oncology, and patient navigators

Functions independently with support from a highly collaborative team
Scope of Duties
-
Provide comprehensive care for oncology patients across the continuum of care

Conduct new patient assessments, follow-ups, and consults
-
Manage symptoms, adjust treatment plans, and educate patients
-
Coordinate with multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and support staff

Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and care coordination
-
Participate in oncology-specific education and quality initiatives
-
May engage in clinical trials, survivorship planning, and cancer support programs
