Medical Oncology APP - NP or PA - Open to locums to perm options
Specialty: Hematology/Oncology APP (PA or NP)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3-6 months
Shift Details: Day shift – 8a – 4:30p
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Work Details:
• Support staff: Yes
• Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-time, Mon -Fri schedule
• Patients per day: 11-16
• Patient population/age: all ages
• Department description: Hematology/Oncology, total hospital size 686 beds
• EMR: EPIC
• Special procedures: Just hematology inpatient services
• Skills required: Experience with Heme patients – benign/malignant REQUIRED
Very Hem focused.
Practice Setting:
o Hospital
Requirements:
• Board Certification: PA or APP
• State license required: MN license
• DEA: NO
Can do temp privs if background is clean!
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
Willing To License?: Only with a compact RN license
Support staff for MDs: we would have APPs on the inpatient side to help (on both hematology and oncology)
No APP support for taking call or on the weekends, but during the day, they would have APP support.
