This facility is seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Need 6-13 shifts per month, schedule is 11.5 hours (7 am -7:30 pm and 7 pm -7:30 am) (weekdays, weekends, day and night shifts)
• Job Setting: Hospital
• Types of Cases: provider role (assessment, critical care planning, prescriptive orders, care coordination, emergency management, Epic documentation)
• Credentialing Timeframe: 8-10 weeks

JOB INFORMATION:

- Vaccination Requirement: Flu and Covid + booster

-Specialty: Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner

-Site Name and Location: MSCH 11 Central

-Reason for coverage: 1 MLOA and 4 vacancies to fill

-Dates of Coverage: September 2022 – April 2023

Practice Description:

• Setting: pediatric critical care unit with neurology, transplant, post- surgical patients
• Daily Responsibilities: provider role (assessment, critical care planning, prescriptive orders, care coordination, emergency management, Epic documentation)
• Shifts/Schedule Expectations: Need 6-13 shifts per month, schedule is 11.5 hours (7am -7:30pm and 7pm -7:30 am) (weekdays, weekends, day and night shifts)
• Call Schedule/Responsibilities: no
• PPD/Census: 14 bed critical care unit
• Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff: 2-3 NPs on days and nights
• Procedures Required/Preferred: n/a
• EMR: Epic
