NP/PA - Pediatric/ Neonatology.

Continuum Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to join a regional newborn hospitalist team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide inpatient pediatric care at 3 hospitals Northeastern North Carolina market.

• Support and continuous competency training provided by Maynard Children’s Hospital Health Medical Center
• Schedule includes 10- 24/7 unrestricted call per month serving Health’s Northeast region of care as well as 24-hours of on-site coverage to support continued competency per month at Maynard’s Children’s Hospital
• Clinical responsibilities when providing coverage will include rounding and coordination of care from admission to discharge for all newborn patients and attendance all at risk deliveries and participation in the resuscitation, stabilization, and transfer of critically ill neonates as needed
• Transfer support provided by Health Medical Center
• Close proximity to NC and VA beaches

Job Requirements include:

• Experienced PNP-AC, NNP or Physician Assistant- At least 2 years of NICU Experience
• NC RN licensure & NC Nurse Practitioner or NC licensure as a Physician Assistant
• National Board Certification as a Pediatric NP-AC, Neonatal NP or as PA required, including maintenance
• 2+ years of experience in health care setting
