Position Overview:
Our growing pediatric practice in Sacramento is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to provide high-quality outpatient care for infants, children, and adolescents. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative clinical team dedicated to preventive care, continuity of treatment, and positive health outcomes for families in the community.

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Flexible scheduling options available:
- Four 10-hour shifts (4x10)
- Five 8-hour shifts (5x8)

Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual Salary: $140,000 – $155,000 depending on experience
- Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
- 4 weeks Paid Time Off (PTO)
- $2,000 CME allowance
- Licensing and DEA reimbursement

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine well-child exams and developmental screenings
- Evaluate and treat common pediatric illnesses and minor injuries
- Administer childhood immunizations and maintain vaccination records
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
- Perform newborn assessments and follow-up visits
- Participate in a rotating hospital rounding schedule for healthy newborns during morning rounds
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient care
- Educate parents and caregivers on nutrition, safety, development, and preventive health
- Provide respectful, culturally responsive care to a diverse patient population

Qualifications:
- Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)
- Active or eligible for California Nurse Practitioner licensure
- New graduates welcome to apply
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred
