Nurse Practitioner Punxsutawney, PA

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient private practice full time in Punxsutawney, PA. We are looking for a compassionate provider who provides high-quality patient care to join our team full-time. We are a physical medicine office, and we prefer the provider to have experience with joint injections.

We are an integrative multidisciplinary clinic that offers a wide range of therapies and procedures that includes arthritis treatment, physical rehabilitation therapy, chiropractic care, back pain treatment, trigger point and joint injections, and neuropathy treatment to name a few and have proudly served the community for over 20 years. Our experienced team of medical professionals is well-respected and experienced- a team that patients know they can trust. Our clinic is patient-centered, and we realize the importance of a close patient-practitioner relationship. We focus on treating patients, rather than just their symptoms. Our multidisciplinary approach allows for improved patient satisfaction and more effective, more efficient therapies-ultimately serving our patients and getting them back to health faster!

Duties:

The ideal candidate will perform exams, evaluate clinical data, consult with our MD and team, order appropriate tests and provide accurate and useful diagnostic information, patient education, documentation and help direction for the management of the patient's care.

  • Patient evaluation (HPI, med history, review pertinent imaging/records/reports)
  • Order appropriate diagnostic tests
  • Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
  • Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment plan options, lifestyle modifications, and rehabilitation
  • Documentation- timely and accurate
  • Procedures- trigger point and joint injections (training can be provided)
  • Management of patient care
  • Collaboration with the Multidisciplinary team- supervisory physician, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
  • Monitor patients for improvements and setbacks to modify services to help clients meet or exceed expectations.
  • Monitor patients for compliance and effectively communicate the need to follow recommendations.
  • Effectively and continually educate patients about the need for, and progress through, the care plan.
  • Supervise and administer injections (trigger point, joint, etc.)
  • Engage in effective communication with clinical as well as administrative staff to ensure seamless flow of production to allow for increased growth of company’s services delivered to meet the strategic objective of the company.
  • Oversee management of Medical Assistants

Qualifications:

  • Nurse Practitioner licensed in PA
  • 1 year experience as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Joint Injection experience preferred

Schedule:

  • Monday- Thursday

Compensation (range):

  • $110k-$150k per year
