We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in Alexandria, VA 22304. We are looking for a provider who can join us on a full-time basis providing direct patient care. Our ideal Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is holistically minded, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point injections and Regen med injections done IM (intramuscularly) or in joints.

Duties:

• Patient exam/evaluation, functional exams (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
• Order and review tests/labs
• Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
• Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises and various modalities
• Manage patient care
• Treatments- perform trigger point, joint and regen med injections
• Documentation and progress notes
• Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

• Graduation from and accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• PA/NP license in VA
• Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
• Experience with joint injections a plus but we will provide training

Schedule:

• Full time (Mon-Friday)

Compensation:

• $120k-$130k per year (DOE)
