JOB TITLE (#2016): Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner / Bilingual Spanish - Bronx, NY
Minimum of 1 year clinical experience
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Bilingual Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to fill an opening with a Primary Care practice located in Bronx, New York
Requirements of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner / Bilingual Spanish:
- Must have an active State license
- Must be Board Certified
- Must have at least 1 year of clinical experience
- Must be Credentialed with Medicare and Medicaid
- Must be Bilingual in Spanish
Benefits for the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner / Bilingual Spanish:
- The salary for this position is $90 / hr
- Benefits are competitive and negotiable
- This is a Part-Time position (Twice a month, any day Monday- Wednesday)
Responsibilities of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner / Bilingual Spanish:
- Diagnose and treat common acute psychiatric problems, illnesses, and crises
- Psychopharmacologic management in collaboration with a psychiatrist
- Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy
- Care for and counsel clients with commonly identified chronic psychiatric conditions
- Coordinate and integrate multidisciplinary services for clients with complex psychiatric problems
- Monitor common health care problems and refer for specialized medical treatment as needed
- Provide comprehensive family psychiatric-mental health education
- Work with clients and their families in anticipation of developmental milestones, life cycle events
- Perform or recommend age-appropriate screening procedures
- Promote wellness-oriented self-care
- Advocate for family psychiatric-mental health clients and their families
