Job Description
Part Time or Full Time options - Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) opportunity in Detroit suburb for a Crisis Stabilization Unit.
- 1 location with 2 options (32 hrs) -
- Wed and Thurs 8a-4p, Sat and Sun 8a-4p or
- Sat and Sun 4p-12p
or
- 1 location with 2 options (16 hrs) -
- Sat and Sun 12a-8a or
- Sat and Sun 4p-12a
- Will see ages 18+ and is a vulnerable population in Detroit during a behavioral health crisis; substance abusers, mental health de-compensation or suicidal ideation.
- Patients spend time with NP, Clinical Therapist, Case Manager, Peer Support and Nursing. Psych evals,, fast acting medication, counseling, warm transfer to intensive outpatient.
- Looking to start ASAP
- Certified PMHNP candidate is ideal with atleast 1 yr exp
- FNP/PA with Psych experience and ability to prescribe ok to apply with 1+ yrs exp
- Although you must work on site - must be willing to conduct tele-health when necessary.
