Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for locum tenens coverage in Salem, Oregon (OR). Starting as soon as credentialed, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

Details:

• Inpatient Psychiatry setting serving adult patients

• Units vary in acuity; primarily severe persistent mental illness with long hospital stays

• State hospital and corrections experience helpful

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; modified four-day schedules available

• No call and no weekend coverage

• Patient volume varies due to length of stay

• Thorough five-day orientation beginning on day one

• Open to locum-to-permanent candidates

EMR:

Avatar; some paper documentation required

Requirements:

• Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification required

• Board Eligible accepted

• Basic Life Support required; training available if not currently certified

• New graduate providers must have inpatient psychiatry clinical training documented on Curriculum Vitae
