The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide mental health services to students through the college counseling center.

- Medication management
Psychiatric consultation
Supporting counseling center clinicians regarding treatment plans
Supporting counseling center clinicians regarding treatment plans
- Providing services primarily through telehealth
Services are delivered to students receiving mental health care through the Counseling Center.

Estimated 2–3 days per month
Hours typically between Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Hours typically between Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
- Mostly remote (telehealth)
- Occasional on-campus visits may be required
There may also be occasional off-hours consultations via telehealth depending on student needs.

Active New York State RN license
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
Certification
- Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification in Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health
DEA License
- DEA registration required
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Minimum 3 years experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in a psychiatric clinical setting
Additional scoring preference:
- 10+ years experience preferred
- Experience working with students in higher education settings
Education preference:
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field
Pay rate between $105-$110
