Adult Inpatient Psychiatry (MD/DO) Locum needed in Anchorage, Alaska (AK)

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Adult Inpatient Psychiatry physician to work locum shifts in Anchorage, Alaska (AK). The team is anticipating starting Oct/Nov 2026. The role offers a competitive market rate and Locums benefit.

50298 - Adult Inpatient Psychiatry (MD/DO) Locum Role:

· Inpatient Schedule: Monday–Friday: 8a-4p; Occasional weekends (about 1 per month)

· Scope: Adult acute care facility

· PPD: 12-14 – charting needs to be completed daily

· EMR: Meditech

Client prefers forensic experience; fellowship not required and will work with board eligible

Requirements of the Adult Inpatient Psychiatry Role:

· AK state license; active, unrestricted. & DEA.

· Certification: Board Certification [or BE, within 5 years of training], with BLS (AHA)

· CV (MM/YYYY, 30+day gaps explained – work and education)
