Inpatient Adult Psychiatry in Spokane (Consult Main Focus)

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced physician in Inpatient Adult C & L Psychiatrist (MD/DO) Locums needed in Spokane, Washington (WA). The team is anticipating starting 8/2026 or 09/2026. The role offers a competitive market rate and Locums benefit.

41393– IP Adult Psychiatry Locum Role:

· Coverage: Locum Inpatient Adult Population 6 months with possible extension

NO CALL with mainly consult liaison with manageable daily volume

· Commitment: 3-6-months and ongoing.

· Scope: Inpatient psychiatric patients of a small unit; 16 bed department; Trauma Level II; 10 patients per day average

· EMR: EPIC

Requirements of the Psychiatry Role:

· WA state license: active, unrestricted (in-hand).

· Board Certified (Board Eligible within 5 years of training)

· DEA

· CV (MM/YYYY, 30+day gaps explained – work and education)
